Dirty Dan is your aggressive, extreme-terrain riding buddy that holds the line whatever the terrain.
Designed for maximum traction in soft terrain and mud the Dirty Dan from Schwalbe has an aggressive, open tread design for shedding mud and shredding the gnar. With extreme side-biters and 'Curveclaws' the Dirty Dan excels at off-camber traction and cornering where other tyres fail.
The Addix UltraSoft compound (purple) is focused on grip and damping and the Super Gravity and Super Downhill tyre carcasses maximise protection from punctures and pinch flats while adding stiffness to the tyre for precise cornering and predictability.
Who's this item for: Gravity riders wanting the ultimate grip and protection who don't mind sacrificing rolling resistance and weight.
Suggested terrain use: The Dirty Dan is a Soft-terrain and mud tyre. Not to say it won't work on anything else, but it will be noticeably slower than a less aggressive tyre on firmer, dryer terrain.
Which wheel?: The Dirty Dan excels as a front-tyre but can be used on both when the track turns to slop.
Suggested Rim width: With tyre widths of 2.35", the Dirty Dan can be used on rims from 20mm to 30mm internal width.
