Collection: MTB Rims
Answer 4 questions to find the perfect Rims for your wheel build!
Bikes are designed to work with specific wheel sizes. You can find your existing rim size printed on the rims or in your bike's specifications.
The number of spoke holes must match the holes on your Hubs. Wheels with more href='https://www.mtbdirect.com.au/collections/spokes'>Spokes (32) are stronger, stiffer, and heavier than fewer spokes (28).
Internal Rim Width impacts the width of Tyre that can be used on the wheel. Rims have become wider over time, with most rims between 26-31mm. XC rims tend to be 24-26mm wide. 'Plus' (27.5+) wheels are over 35mm wide.
Damage to your rims is common and can occur from rock strikes or running insufficent tyre pressures. Replace a damaged rim or upgrade your wheel build with a new rim.
