Description
The Race Face AR 25 Offset Rim is an excellent rim for a large range of applications. The design has been updated to include an asymmetric rim profile providing even spoke tension throughout and therefore a stronger and more durable wheel. The rim extrusion has also been improved to withstand impacts from more aggressive riding.Who's this item for: The 25 Offset rim is great for riders looking at running thinner tyres and can be used for anything from XC to Aggressive Trail riding.
Tubeless: They are tubeless ready and have a strong tyre retention bead, however they do not come with tubeless tape or valves. They are designed to be used with Presta valves.
Weight: The 27.5" weighs approximately 448gm, the 29" weighs approximately 470gm.
Rim Dimensions: The rim dimensions are as follows:
- External Width: 29mm
- Internal Width: 25mm
- ERD: 27.5: 562mm 29er: 600mm
Pros: The offset spokes offer better strength and durability.
Cons: They weight a bit more than the ARC series and would not be suitable for riders looking to run wider tyres.
