    Great for summer riding

I love these shorts already. As the title says, they are super light- so great for summer riding. It’s the standard Fox sizing, so you know what you are getting if you use this brand. They are more fitted than the Ranger ones I have, so they look a lot more MTB and a lot less Skater. Only one small pocket- too small for your phone- I don’t mind that at all. A great buy, :)

Super light & a good fit

I was after a super-lightweight pair of shorts for longer-distance pedalling on less demanding trails.

They won't offer any real protection in a crash (as expected).

They are *really* lightweight! So they tick that box.

Con: the pocket is also super lightweight - it's not comfortable to store keys in there while riding.

    Sizing Note: Sizing is 100% spot-on for me. I'm normally 32, I ordered a 32, they fit like a 32.

    Buyer beware - appalling sizing!

These were my 4th pair of Fox brand shorts so I was hoping to have a good (consistent experience).

The sizing is way off. I'm normally 36" to 38" waist but wear padded (moto style) shorts between the main short and the chamois. Because of this, I opted for a 38" waist.

I removed the chamois so that I could put the moto shorts on top then tried to put the main shorts on. I couldn't even get them over my backside! If you have any degree of athleticism about you (eg: decent glutes and quads), look for another option. These are simply cut far too small. I tried without the moto shorts and they just fit but with no room for error! Even with thin underwear only I can't close the buckle.

FWIW, friends with 34-36" waist tried mine on and also couldn't get them to fit.

    Very disappointing.
