Crank Brothers first Clip-in / Flat pedal hybrid.


Dr. Jekyll, or Mr. Hyde? You decide. Whether you are settling in for a 5 hour epic, or just can't resist getting a foot out for a moto-style drift in a median strip on your daily commute, the Crank Brothers Double Shot has you covered.


No plastic on these pedals, with Chromoly spindles to withstand the hardest of landings, aluminium body for rock deflections, and stainless steel wings for consistent clip-in action for years to come.

These pedals are difficult to define a target audience for. They could be used for someone who is just getting started on clips and rides a wide variety of techical and non-technical trails. They could be used for a weekday commuter, weekend trail bike. Who they are most certainly for is those who like choice, and don't like changing pedals.

  • Molded traction ribs and pins on flat side, diamond plate traction area on clip-in side
  • Features the latest Crank Brothers bearing and seal updates for improved longivity and service intervals.
  • Swapable cleats giving 15° or 20° release angle.
  • 395 g.

Sizing/Fitment:

9/16 pedal axle fits all three-peice cranks.

    BEST CLIP PEDALS EVER MADE

    So I recently bought these crank brother mallet double shots off MTB direct (the best) and seriously these are the best pedals whether you want to clip in down hill and hit eagles or you just want to take it easy one day and go flats. Well these pedals can do both. Please buy these. Thanks MTB Direct!

    Crank it up...

    I bought a pair of Crank Brothers Double shot pedals.

    These are great for my varying needs. Sometimes I use my to go to the shops and need my trainers and at other times I go for a big ride. These allow me to wear both trainers and cleats when I need to. Both give a high-quality output when peddling.
