The Buzzy Bee offers convenient mounting, basic functions, and compact storage. The rubber pad provides a good solution for mounting carbon frames as it does not apply pressure to the carbon tubes.

Who's this item for: These racks are perfect for anyone looking for a compact platform rack to transport bikes up to 20kg in weight. You will need a vehicle with a hitch receiver to fit it though.

How many bikes does it carry: 2 or 4 bikes depending on the model.

How does it carry them:

• The wheel holders will accommodate most wheelbases, even small children’s bikes. You can reverse the wheel supports for the really small bikes.
• The long rubber-padded wheel straps hold tyres up to 3.25” wide; pull on them to tighten, and use the quick release to loosen
• The Buzzy Bee is entirely suitable for carbon frame bikes; the rubber bike frame pads and high resistance straps hold any type of tube firmly but gently.
• The down tube size is limited to 75mm diameter (3″); whatever bikes you have, always load the heaviest bikes nearest to the car

• 2-bike: The maximum permitted load is 40kg, with no bike weighing more than 20kg
• 4-bike: The maximum permitted load is 60kg, with no bike weighing more than 20kg

E-Bike rated: Not specifically, but the rack can handle bikes up to 20kg in weight

How does it mount to the car: This is a hitch-mounted rack. Compatible with both 1.25″ and 2″ receivers. The rack sits high on the hitch, well clear of speed bumps and other hazards such as steep ferry ramps.
