Description

Time tested and proven. The Volt is WTB's most popular mountain bike saddle for good reason. With medium padding, a slight whale tail, and a gentle drop to the nose there is something to push against while climbing and plenty of seating positions available. The Volt saddle is bred for speed, performance, and all-day riding comfort.

Cover: Microfibre (synthetic leather look) Cover

Padding:
  • Carbon/Titanium Rails: DNA Padding - Dense, lightweight padding reduces the weight of the saddle and hold its shape better over long rides as well as the lifetime of the saddle.
  • Cromoly Rails: HLX Padding - Super comfy and shock absorbent. The plushest WTB padding material available.
  • Steel Rails - DNA-X Padding - Single density foam.
Shell: Flex-Tuned Shell provides a happy medium in terms of flex and firm efficiency. It's not as stiff as the Carbon Composite shell and not as supple as the Soft-Shell.

    A true butt saver!

    In all honesty I was a bit skeptical because the sizing on this according to the makers website is determined by the width of your wrist when layed flat! I’m naturally thinking what has the size of my wrist got to do with my butt size, weird, it’s not like they’re anywhere near the same size, if yours is however , you may need to seek medical attention lol 😂. Now Ive fitted it & have used it on a fair few rides I can tell you it’s spot on & very comfortable! Go figure !

    This saddle has been my go to for a few years now across a number of bikes.

    It fits me and I'm a fan.

    Not crazy expensive and comfortable on short and long rides, with and without a chamois.

    If it fits you then I would recommend.

    Great service

    I had a previous seat of the same type fail after about 6 months (I'm guessing a manufacturing issue with the rails). MTB direct were excellent to deal with and got a manufacturer's replacement for me quickly and efficiently. Very happy
