Description

The new SQLab 6OX Infinergy Ergowave Active 2.1 S-Tube Saddle is entirely made in Germany and boasts cutting-edge features and materials technology that challenge conventional thinking in saddle design.

Using BASF's new Infinergy material instead of regular PU foam allows the designers to use Fabric Tapes in high-wear areas rather than a material being stretched over the entire surface, due to the durability of the BASF Infinergy material. The result is a surface that better adapts to your contours and responds faster to changes in pressure, leading to more comfort.

The trademark Ergowave step and a deep dip provide improved Perineal relief, while the wave shape and raised rear improve rearward support and provide pressure distribution, which improves power transmission to the pedal. The active movement has become lighter and smoother and is even more adjustable in the new models, as the elastomers have become smaller and lighter.

    review title

    unfamiliar sensation which appeared laterally insecure (body flopping/falling side to side) compared to conventional saddle designs which stress the pereneum. angle the nose up and sit quite far back, give yourself time to adapt, familiarise and assess.

    banished all long term pain with only short term discomfort on the contact points

    rail paint is fragile and poorly adhered, it is best removed prior to installation

    detailed patches are ineffective and abrasive, wearing a hole in my pants within the first few rides; they may be 'shaved' with a knife as one would their skin

    The Best I have ever used!

    This is hands down the best saddle I have ever ridden. Having tried countless saddles over the years, it was a bit of risk to purchase such an expensive saddle, but boy oh boy is this thing worth every penny.

    Seated climbs are an absolute specialty of this thing. I can't recommend it enough.

    Excellent saddle.

    Tough, quality and a good looking Saddle. Easily move on it as you need to shift your weight and the most comfortable saddle I have ever had even on 4+ hour rides. Will depend on a good fit however so have an accurate measurement of your sit bones and error on the larger side.

    Great fit and comfort

    Best fitting seat I have used, the only reason this isn't 5 stars is the seat rails are painted black not anodised and after some time the paint flakes off.
