Description
Shimano has taken their already successful Ice-Technologies Freeza brake rotors and made them even better. Lighter weights across all four sizes and improved heat dissipation. If consistent, fade-free braking performance is what you're after, it's time to test out the all new Shimano XTR RT-MT900 Ice-Tech Centerlock Disc Brake Rotors.Who's this item for: XC, Trail, Enduro and DH riders after top tier Centerlock mounting brake rotors.
Mounting standard: Shimano Centerlock.
Materials: Stainless steel and aluminium.
Brake pad compatibility: You can use either metal (sintered) or resin (organic) brake pads on these rotors.
Stand out features: The 'stainless steel - aluminium - stainless steel' sandwich rotor construction dissipates heat very well. In intensive tests the 203 and 180mm discs have seen improvements of heat dissipation of up to 20C over the previous Ice Technologies Freeza discs.
Dimensions / weight:
- 203mm, 147-grams
- 180mm, 131-grams
- 160mm, 108-grams
- 140mm, 89-grams
Pros: Consistent braking performance. Excellent heat dissipation. Lightweight.
Cons: Not compatible with 6-bolt hubs. If you don't have Centerlock hubs you can't run these rotors.
