    Awesome noise - TERRIBLE to install

    The noise this bell makes it awesome.

    The design and for fitting is terrible. To say it's fiddly doesn't do it justice. Don't bother with the SS band that the supply. It's not worth your time. Replace it with a zip tie and boom you're done in no time.

    Whomever designed this thing needs to be put out to pasture.

    Great bell for a very good price - some 'tricks' for install though !

    To make install easier: 1) loosen the main tightening screw without losing the back plate. 2) Affix the self adhesive rubber mounting strip in position making sure the bell will operate without any obstruction on the handle bars 3) Bend the ss band into a u- shape. 3) Turn the bell upside down underneath the handle bar and hold it there, make sure the 'ringer' (lever) will be on the correct side as you will be turning it up on top of the handle bar. 4) Push the ss band into back plate recesses on either side, they should 'hook' in 5) Carefully rotate the bell to the top and gently tighten the main screw. 6) Ring a ding with a bit of 'bling' !

    Install Headache, worth it

    Huge pain to put together but once on it works really well, so well I am buying a second one for another bike.

    Good for $20

    Once installed (was a bit fiddly) the ring is sharp and loud, good for $20. But, I had to cut down the main screw by around 3mm (angle grinder) as it came very close if not touched my handlebars when tightened up. The small rubber mounting feet are totally useless, they do not sit flat to protect the handlebars when tightening. In the box, it came with a 3M rubber square which I assume is to be used for this purpose. No instructions though!! This bell is a cheap copy of the Spurcycle version. Overall I'm happy at this price point. The Spurcycle bell is $90 for the black version.
