Description
Installing a new cable and/or housing in a frame with internal cable routing can be an incredibly frustrating process at the best of times. Take the pain out of that process with this handy system of magnetised tools to help you get that cable where you need it.
If you're removing an existing cable house to replace it with another, simply screw the tapered threaded end onto your old housing and attach the coated wire cable. As you remove your old housing it gets replaced by the coated steel wire. All you have to do then is use the coated steel wire to pull thrugh your new cable outer, trim the ends and away you go.
Alternately, if you don't have an existing cable out to work with, you can use the powerful big blue magnet to work your coated steel wire or other cable or wire into position by dragging the magnetic end allong the inside of the frame using the big blue magnet on the outside.
There are a couple of threaded ends and a Di2 adapter as well as a multi-purpose rubber sock that can be placed over the end of whatever you need to pull into place. The possibilities are endless.
Note: Not so usefull on steel frames given the components are magnets.
