Description
Give your bike the protection it deserves with a quality lock that those pesky thieves will have trouble getting through. A U-Lock and a secondary cable is considered to be the best way to secure your bike so that opportunistic thieves will choose to try their luck elsewhere.Who's this item for: This is a great choice to take with you to lock your bike up at the shops, school etc and will also work great at home.
Key or combination: This is a keyed lock with a high-security locking mechanism, 12mm hardened steel shackle and a pick, pull, and drill resistant cylinder.
Materials: 12mm hardened steel shackle with a protective coating to stop it scratching your paint.
Pros: Good compromise between all-out security and weight. You should be able to carry this around with you without much hassle.
Cons: It is neither the lightest or the most secure lock out there. The baddies will still get through it quickly enough if they have the right tools available. Pair it up with a quality cable lock to keep those pesky thieves away from your ride.
