Description
Designed as an all-terrain shoe, the Northwave Overland Plus provides the security and efficiency of clip-in pedals with all-day comfort and versatility with the traction to take you anywhere even when your bike can't. Enduro, Trail, E-Bike, XC, Cyclo, Bikepacking, or whatever buzzword you can name, this shoe can do.
The Vibram Fort Augustus clipless sole, made by Vibram, is designed to empower traction and braking with an unparalleled grip on wet and dry surfaces whether riding or walking. The EVA (Ethylene-vinyl acetate) midsole reduces weight while improving shock absorption.
Thermo welded abrasion-resistant synthetic layers in their upper construction provide superior protection with minimised thickness and weight and are ripstop reinforced to enhance durability and allow your shoes to be worn in any conditions. The small insert in TPU makes the shoes highly abrasion resistant and protects them from frequent impacts.
Dual closure system that combines velcro with Northwave's SLW3 X-Dial closure. This solution controls the pressure distribution on the upper arch of the foot to avoid unnecessary pinch points and hot spots while riding. The combo works perfectly on the entire foot: the SLW3 rotor tightens the shoes from mid instep to toes, while the strap focuses on securing the upper arch. The tongue has been made with a thin layer of padding for maximum comfort even when you are handling extended miles and the rear of the shoe is carefully designed to adapt to your heel avoiding slippage and delivering a precision fit at all times.
