Originally designed as a BMX tyre, the Grifter is perfect for those that want to take their 29er on an urban assault! The super fast tread makes the Grifter a great commuting tyre and will cut out most of the drag you'd experience with a knobbier tread pattern.

    great urban training tyre

    brought maxxis grifter tyres for my mountain bike had knobby tyres was difficult to use on urban adventures the grifters make so much difference for smooth surfaces & handling will also install tyre liners to help prevent any puncture mishaps making the grifters a great choice for an urban tyre

    Good value and nice rolling

    Only done 400km so far it's tracking well. Good value slick tyre for front wheel, using a 2.2" on rear.

    Supergrippy and fantastic good looking

    Love these tyres. They're are fast and grippy on the roads and pavements, lots of room to be able to pump it to the desired softness and awesome for commuting. They also look great on the bike!
