Description
Gravel grinding, mile mashing, and climb crushing. If that sounds like what you like to get up to on your gravel/adventure/cross bike, then the Alluvium Pro will get it done! The densest centre knobs ever seen on a tyre provide minimal rolling resistance, while still being able to sift through pea gravel and sand covered fire road surfaces. Lean it over and the well-spaced side knobs will provide enough support to blast round sweeping gravel corners.
An additional puncture protection layer from bead to bead aids in preventing thorns and other nasties going through the tread. This layer will also ward off those ride-ending sidewall slashes.
Who's this for: People wanting a super quick, yet grippy and reliable gravel tyre.
Suggested terrain: Hardpack and loose over hard. Imagine your typical bush fire road, and that's where this thing excels.
Which wheel: The Alluvium Pro is fantastic on the front and the rear.
Weight: 495g +/- 25g
Pros: Fast, without sacrificing too much in the grip department when it comes to gravel application.
Cons: Not suited for mud.
