Description

Gravel grinding, mile mashing, and climb crushing. If that sounds like what you like to get up to on your gravel/adventure/cross bike, then the Alluvium Pro will get it done!

The densest centre knobs ever seen on a tyre provide minimal rolling resistance, while still being able to sift through pea gravel and sand covered fire road surfaces. Lean it over and the well-spaced side knobs will provide enough support to blast round sweeping gravel corners.

An additional puncture protection layer from bead to bead aids in preventing thorns and other nasties going through the tread. This layer will also ward off those ride-ending sidewall slashes.

Who's this for: People wanting a super quick, yet grippy and reliable gravel tyre.

Suggested terrain: Hardpack and loose over hard. Imagine your typical bush fire road, and that's where this thing excels.

Which wheel: The Alluvium Pro is fantastic on the front and the rear.

Weight: 495g +/- 25g

Pros: Fast, without sacrificing too much in the grip department when it comes to gravel application.

Cons: Not suited for mud.

    Big, Fast and Smooth

Bought the 700x40c. Fast. Very generous bag. Good grip and nice dampening qualities. . Only gripe I found - the tightly packed tread seems to pickup small rocks. So riding on asphalt, you get the occasional ping-ping-ping on the frame.

    tubeless installation

Definitely the easiest tubeless tyre installation that I had. Plug and play with just a floor pump. Can't believe that it seated easily.

Good tyre that could be great with improved quality

Great tyre and tread design for gravel riding and CX (B grade) racing. Also rolls well on cycleways. Let down by poor and porous side walls. When new the sealant had to seal lots of small holes. You have to pump the tyre up every 48hrs to maintain pressure.
