The Trigger lower protective liners prevent risks such as abrasions and/or bruises. The shorts, designed as underwear, are worn next to the skin, have a tight cut and are equipped with an antibacterial 3D shaped and ventilated seat pad.

The NockOut side padding built into the thigh protects against surface injuries such as abrasions or bruises, while the safety-certified hip pads absorb heavy blows and protect against injuries to the hip joint.

    IXS Protective Shorts

    The quality of the short liner is very high, the size was bang on for me with a snug fit but not overly tight plus a low waistband, I really forgot I was wearing them even with a large amount of pedalling. The hip pads are fairly hard but malleable and what seems like two or three separate pads on top of each other that move independently which helps to stop any tagging or tightness and the thigh pads are fairly soft. The only thing to be aware of is that the hip pads do stick out a bit so you would want to make sure your shorts have some room or they are a stretchy material as one pair of my shorts were slightly snug but fine when I kept the pockets unzipped. The chamois is adequate. Quick delivery by MTB direct, as always.
