Description

Utilitarian. Like the sound of that? What about all-mountain utilitarian? That's how Dakine defines the Syncline Gel glove. The Syncline Gel offers full finger coverage and gel palm padding to keep you comfortable even on the longest rides.

Who's this for: Enduro, all-mountain, trail and XC riders looking for a comfortable, full finger coverage glove.

Palm style: Synthetic suede, paired with 4mm gel padding to keep you comfy when your two hour loop turns into a six hour epic.

Materials: The Syncline Gel's construction is a moisture wicking, 4-way stretch polyester shell mated to an AX SUEDE DEUCE synthetic suede palm with 4mm of gel padding. The Polygiene odour control technology helps the gloves smell fresher a bit longer.

Additional protection: Not in this glove.

Closure: With an adjustable hook and loop tab the gloves are easy to slip on and off.

Touch screen compatible: Yup. You'll be able to scroll around TrailForks while waiting for your friends to catch up.

Sweat wipe: There sure is. Dakine calls it a microfleece nose wipe, but it will work for sweat too.

Pros? The gel padding takes an already comfy pair of gloves to the next level. Touch screen compatible so you can answer that call while you're taking in all that serenity. It's a good looking glove considering it's utilitarian design.

Cons? Gel padding on the palm isn't for riders looking for that close to the bar, 'glove-less feel'.

    Good gear

A well fitting comfortable glove. The gel pads are quite nice for those whom habitually break metacarpals. I realised this when I wore padless gloves on a downhill run the other day, lol.
