Description

Cleanskin Hitch Mount Platform E-Bike Rack is a heavy duty, easy-to-use and secure mode of MTB transportation for pretty much any MTB, eMTB, or Fatbike. The rack will also accommodate standard road, hybrid, path, BMX, and kids' bikes as it is compatible with wheels from 20" to 29". The extra large 5" wide wheel holder accommodates for pretty much every tyre size as well.

The heavy-duty steel tubing design supports up to 60kg total, or two bikes weighing up to 30kg each. Both of the posts fold down to facilitate bike loading and slim storage when not in use, and each post terminates in a padded ratchet arm to secure bikes by the tyres. The rack can be folded up vertically against the vehicle as well as tilted down with a pin and lever system to gain access to the boot/cargo space.

    Really easy introduction to hitch mounted racks

    I bought this one after having a look at many other brands. My bike has a 1270 wheelbase and this rack held it pretty well. I believe longer bikes can be mounted and also smaller as the rear wheel attachment can be adjusted accordingly. Didn’t need to hold it from the frame which was also a plus; protecting the paint on your bike. Easy hook onto the receiver in the car. Slightly heavy I'd say. I’ve noticed during install that I could run it as a single bike and save some weight and it worked perfectly like that as well. As every other person that bought this rack before me; I would 100% recommend it.

    Perfect Ute bike rack

    Prefect bike rack if you still want to drop the tail gate on your Ute to access the back tray (when bikes are removed of course). Also this was the only horizontal bike rack I could find to accommodate the wheelbase of a modern downhill bike which is quite long.

    It didn’t take more than about 1/2 an hour to assemble by myself, definitely would have been easier with a second person though. Great value rack. Folds up out of the way if you’re not keen on taking it off the Ute after each ride. Definitely would recommend

    Cleanskin Hitch Mount Platform E-Bike Rack

    I needed a hitch mount rack for a recently purchased EBike, and read quite a few reviews before deciding on this one. As I won’t need to transport the bike too often I was after something that I could reasonable easily attach and remove from the car, and didn’t want to spend too much. Previous reviews I read about this one sounded pretty good so I ordered it from MTB Direct and received it in a couple of days. Assembly was pretty straight forward and easy enough to do and to attach to the car by myself. Loading the bike was also quick and easy and felt pretty solid. A couple of long trips later and I’m very happy with how it performed. It feels really solid and the bike doesn’t wobble around like I was worried it might with this sort of rack, I used the tilt feature with the bike loaded to access the tailgate of my SUV, and again this was an easy process to do by myself. This rack does everything I needed it to do, and feels really solid and stable.
