Thomson was started when Ronnie Thomson set out to produce precision CNC parts for a variety of industrial applications. Ronnie would later put his aerospace engineering expertise to work in producing a seat post for his daughter who was a team cyclist. After patenting his creation, Thomson bike components was born.
