Hayes

Hayes began life in 1946 and has specialised in brakes ever since, with a history that includes developing the first disc brake for Schwinn in 1972 and being the exclusive supplier of brake systems for Harley-Davidson motorcycles since the mid-eighties. In 1996, Hayes introduced the first hydraulic disc brake, which revolutionised the mountain bike industry and then sold 12,000 brake systems to Trek Bicycles the following year.  Built into each Hayes disc brake is the power, feel and dependability you need, to get the most out of every ride, and their sole focus is to develop products that outperform your application and exceed your expectations.
