Description

The Cleanskin Blind Bearing Puller and Slide Hammer is a split collet type internal puller, suitable for extracting bearings from blind housings. It's also ideal for pulling out bushes and needle roller bearings from blind holes. It is Drop-forged, with heat treated steel attachments.

The included extractor collects offer the capacity to remove 9mm to 34mm sized bearings. These are easy to use. Simply select the appropriate sized collet by comparing it with the application, insert collect, expand it to fit the hole, and attach the slide hammer assembly.

    Terrible case

    The case is terrible, received mine today and the latches / clips just fall off the case once opened. Impossible to fit the clips back onto the case.

    Must have tool if needing to pull out bearings.

    This was a life saver, here i am trying to rebuild some flat pedals which you would think is an easy task and i get to the point where i need to pull out the bearing. I thought back to my younger years of replacing bearings in my skateboarding wheels, super easy with a flat head screw driver.

    I kid you not its impossible without this, believe me i tried and i tried to only come away with sore hands and frustration. I had planned on replacing the bearing anyway but after my attempts there was no saving that bearing.

    With this tool i had it out within 10 seconds, it also has a decent range of bearings you could use it with so can potentially use it for car related activities as well. Is made well, i cant see me needing to get another bearing puller tool in my lifetime.

    Worth the buy.

    If i had to nit pick one thing its the size of the slide hammer, would make it a little easier if it was a little bigger and heavier to use as leverage when trying to pull out a bearing.

    Works really well!

    Works well and pulls blind bearings out! The grub screw that holds the "T handle" in place keeps coming loose from the hammering impact (might have to weld it on). If wasn't for that i would have given x5 stars, so instead, I gave x4 stars (it has a good case too). Oh yeah, I had to clean out all the threads too because there were steel filings left everywhere in them (lol laziness in Chinese manufacturing?).

    Solid Product

    This is a fantastic product at a really good price. Solid construction and a way better removal tool than many I have used over the years. Mtbdirect service and delivery were fast and efficient.
