Description

One of the most popular options on the market for a flat pedal, the Race Face the Chester pedal was designed to take all the abuse of an alloy pedal, be just as reliable as a good alloy pedal, but be a bit kinder on the back pocket.

They succeeded in this by using a tough as nails Nylon Composite body. It still has a fully sealed and ultra smooth bearing system with cartridge bearings and DU bushings in each pedal. It's fully serviceable, has a Cr-Mo axle and is thin and light at just 360g.

Sold as a pair.

Who's this item for: Designed for Trail/DH/FR/DJ riders looking for a set of flat pedals that are burly enough to take on almost any trail, whilst being conservative on price.

Dimensions and Weight: 101 x 110mm concave platform that is 18.4mm thick. 180g per pedal. 360g per set.

Bearings: Sealed outboard bearing combined with a sealed inboard bushing.

Pin Quantity: 8 replaceable hex nutted pins on each side. 16 per pedal. The pins load in from the bottom, so they can always be removed.

Materials: Nylon composite body. A strong Cr-Mo steel 9/16" axle. Heat treated steel pins.

Pros: A classic MTB pedal now even more refined. Great size platform. Fully serviceable. Durable and good value for money.

Cons: Some riders might like a larger platform with more pins for a better engagement

Great pedals. Similar to the ones I was running. A lot more grip and perfect for my foot size.

    Solid

After reading lots of reviews I bought these as an affordable all rounder. I can see why they're so popular, the grip and support is great. They've held up really well to some big strikes too with only very minor scratching. Plus they look sweet!
