Description
The top-end Factory Series Float DPS is a lightweight air shock suitable for XC and Trail bikes. It features a lightweight chassis, EVOL air spring and dual-piston damper. The damper provides you with 3 firmness settings (Open, Medium, and Firm) which can be switched on the fly. The Open position also offers 3 clicks of low-speed compression within that setting. This damper will allow you to make quick adjustments to suit the terrain you are riding, keeping things efficient on the way up so you'll be fresher on the way down.
Who is this for: The DPS shock is best suited for Cross Country and Trail bikes and balanced riding where there is as much focus on going up as there is coming down.
Spring type: This shock uses the EVOL air spring which uses a larger negative air volume to create a linear spring curve that delivers plushness off the top, extra mid-stroke support and a more tunable bottom out.
Compression damper adjustments: The damper offers a 3 position lever to allow you to switch between Open, Medium, and Firm modes to suit the trail conditions. The Open mode also features a 3 position adjustment so you can fine-tune the amount of low-speed compression you'd like in this mode.
Rebound damper adjustments: The rebound circuit allows for low-speed rebound to be adjusted.
Volume adjustability: The DPS shock allows for the mid-stroke support and bottom-out resistance to be tuned via the installation of air volume spacers.
