Description

Sick of having to carry around a big, bulky, heavy spare tube in case you have a blowout on the trails? Well, Tubolito is here with the perfect solution! These ultralight and extra-durable tubes are manufactured from a special thermoplastic elastomer that was originally developed for use in speaker cones of all things. They are far less bulky, and more puncture resistant than standard butyl inner tubes and can easily be slipped into a pocket or strapped to your bike without taking up too much space.

Of course, they are also an excellent choice if you still prefer to run tubes and they'll cut down a heap of rotating mass while providing extra protection against punctures.

Who's this item for: These tubes are the perfect choice for anyone wanting a lightweight spare to carry around or use to replace the heavy butyl tubes in their tyres.

Removable valve core: Yes, these tubes use Presta valves with a removable core.

Materials: Some kind of magical thermoplastic elastomer.

Pros: Far lighter and less bulky than standard tubes.

Cons: Convenience does come at a cost and these tubes are quite a bit pricier than the standard variety.

    Emergency use only

    Three tubes in two different bike all failed on first use.

    The pump up ok, but slowly lead air, a few hours later they are flat as a tac. They might be useful to get you out of jam, but there is no way I could rely on this to keep my tires inflated.

    On a positive note they are small and light and easy to carry.

    Great fit for purpose

    Exactly what I wanted; light, compact and well made. Easy to stow in my frame storage shot as a backup for my tubeless system. Delivery was prompt and reliable. Very happy customer.

    Great Tube

    Very happy with the tubolito tube, I had limited space for where I wanted to store a spare tube on the bike and was unable to do so with a normal tube, this tube is about a third the size and half the weight.
