Description
PNW's Range Handlebar Gen 3 remains focused on ergonomics and comfort, with a width of 800mm and a new 35mm diameter option. With the industry continually trending towards frames with a longer reach, the Range Handlebar Gen 3 prioritises minimising back discomfort and wrist fatigue so you never feel like you have ol' bird bones on your climbs or descents.
Who's this item for: Riders looking for a super stylish, comfortable and coloured handlebar to match with their bikes.
Width: 800m.
Clamp Diameter: Either 31.8 or 35mm.
Rise: 30mm.
Weight: 31.8mm-314g, 35mm-310g.
Materials: The Range features 2014 Aluminium Alloy, a trail-friendly material resembling carbon’s chatter absorbing qualities in a more cost-conscious and durable package.
Save your wrist and back: PNW kept the best parts of their Range Handlebar and baked them into this new one. The tall rise and relaxed upsweep + back sweep are the essential ingredients to making all of your future singletrack sessions purely zen.
The Gen 3 bars still feature a 10 degree back sweep and 5-degree upsweep, putting your arms and shoulders in a more relaxed position. A 30mm rise means you won’t be hunched over like that creepy scoliosis test they used to give in gym class.
Personal Preference: PNW appreciates your local watering hole having multiple beers on tap, and figured the same goes for bar diameter. Their Gen 3 gives the option of 31.8mm (our OG size for the purist) or 35mm. Through material choice and smart butting profiles, They've created a 35mm bar that's a dream to pilot.
Lost weight but got bigger from the V2?: But how? Science? Physics? Geometry? Engineers are crafty. By widening the width of the bar from 780 to 800, PNW was able to extend those butting profiles and removed unnecessary material, reducing the weight of the previous Range Handlebar by as much as 25 grams.
