Express Post Timeframes

Orders placed by 10am AEST/AEDT will ship same day. Express post timeframes start from the day after the parcel is received by Australia Post. 

WA: 3-5 business days
NT: 3-5 business days
SA: 2-3 business days
TAS: 2-3 business days
ACT: 2-3 business days
NSW: 2-3 business days
QLD: 2-4 business days
VIC: 1-2 business days

When will my order be shipped?

Express delivery orders and most regular delivery orders placed before 10am (Melbourne time - AEST/AEDT) on a business day are usually shipped from our Melbourne warehouse same-day. During busy periods there may be small delays to dispatch some orders.


Do you ship on public holidays?

No, as our shipping providers do not work on public holidays. This means we do not ship parcels on National or VIC public holidays. (an updated list available here)


Is everything on your site in stock?

Most products that you can add to cart are actually in stock at our warehouse. 

Any products marked "Ships from Supplier" will be shipped to you directly by our supplier.

Any products marked "Ships in 10-14 Days" are special order products, meaning we have to order these from our supplier once you have placed your order. When the product arrives at our warehouse, we will ship it to you (along with any other products on your order).  


How much does shipping cost?

  • Orders over $99: We offer free shipping for orders over $99, however, this excludes orders containing heavy/bulky products and/or dangerous goods.  Orders that can't be shipped via Australia Post are excluded.
  • Orders under $99: Cost to ship these orders depends on your location and what products you have selected - you can get a quote at the cart for your whole order. You can choose from a range of delivery providers.

What does "Authority to Leave" mean?

Authority to leave means that your package will not require a signature upon delivery. This is great for people which are often at work when the postman/courier arrives, as they don't need to be home for delivery. Please note, if you select "Authority to Leave" MTB Direct will not be held responsible for any parcels which are lost/stolen/mauled by your canine. We do not recommend selecting if you live in a gated complex, or unit block. CHOOSE AT YOUR OWN RISK!


Can you ship Express?

We offer Express deliveries to most locations across Australia using Australia Post eParcel Express. Prices are based on the items you are ordering and your destination, so to get a quote simply add all your desired items to your cart and proceed to the checkout. Enter your state and postcode to get an exact shipping cost.

If no Express quotes are shown, this could be because you are trying to purchase a heavy/bulky product which we can't ship express, or express shipping isn't an available option for your order, but if you're unsure please contact us.

Shipping Express eParcel means that your order will receive priority dispatch and priority shipping. You can use the Australia Post Tracking to keep up to date with the estimated delivery of your order - Australia Post Tracking.


How long will it take to get my order?

Delivery times depend on where you live and the shipping method you select. 

To see an estimate on how long a package may take to arrive, you can go to the Australia Post website and enter Truganina, 3029 as the origin postcode: Australia Post shipping estimate

If after the estimated time your order has not arrived, or you are concerned about it's progress, we suggest that you contact the freight provider first. They are best placed to track your parcel down and get it to you as soon as possible. However if you don't have any luck with them, then you can contact us and we'll try to get it sorted out.

Can I come and collect my order from your store?

Unfortunately no, we are not able to offer a collection service at our Melbourne warehouse.


Do you ship internationally?

We ship to a large range of countries around the world! To see if your country is currently serviced, please add an item to your cart and go to the checkout and select your country.

Please note that you may be required to pay import taxes and duties on your order, depending on the laws and regulations in your country, so you'll need to enquire of your own Customs authorities about this. Also note that we are legally required to accurately describe the value and contents of the parcels we send internationally, so we cannot and will not falsify the details on these forms (e.g. claim a lower value or marking the item as a gift). So please don't ask us to do this!
