Featuring a large platform for your palm, the GP1 offers a tremendous amount of support and reduces pressure. These are favored by riders all over the world. If you're a commuter of ride smoother XC trails, these are an excellent choice.
Who's this item for: This grip is designed for XC or commuters who are looking for more comfortable grip. This grip can aid riders who have carpel tunnel issues.
Mounting style: These are a slip-on grip with a single outer clamp.
Material: The body is made from 100% German rubber compounds of the purest quality, infused Medical-grade white mineral oil for improved comfort and durability.
Pattern: A directional grip texture that is opposite to the direction of hand rotation so your hands effectively screw onto the grip while you're riding.
Features: Ergonomic design that offer 100% contact with the hand surface area, versus traditional round grips, that offer only 60% contact.
Soft / firm: These are a soft grip.
End caps: The grip surface extends all the way to the outer edge of the grips with a fully integrated grip end connected to the inner core. There are no end caps.
Diameter: Available in different sizes for best fit.
- Large XL-XXL glove size. 102mm hand circumference.
- Small XS-L glove size. 92mm hand circumference.
Tips: Adjusting the angle makes a huge difference. From personal experience, we have found that these grips work better when the 'wing' is raised up towards a level position. This will keep your wrist straight and reduce the most stress.
Pros: Optimised to provide maximum comfort. For riders with carpel tunnel issues these are worth a look.
Cons: We have used these grips for all types of riding. They are great for smoother terrain, but we do not recommend them for rough or aggressive riding. We felt that they did not offer the same level of control as more conventional grips.
